I had enough of Rapidweaver, not only this web-publishing software deleted my previous entries (its mistake, not my fault!) I had enough with it’s dull templates too.

I had invested so much time in my blog and now, I’d lost almost everything. The only reason I put up with Rapidweaver is because I enjoyed typing my blog entries offline and it is indeed the-better-version of iWeb. I’d even paid for the latest released 3.6.1 but I’d failed to see the improvements they mentioned on this newly update!

Now, I’ve decided, enough is enough! I am not going to tolerate this anymore. This is the reason why more and more people are turning to Open Source. It is free, but more creative, reliable and flexible than these commercial-ware. There is a pool of talents working on the project, and people who are interested to create their “version” of the software, they can download the Source-Code and mix in their preferences. The only requirement; Share this with the Others!

So why should I spent USD 40 for such piece of craps while I can use WordPress free? There are tons of templates/themes I can install on my WordPress by just googling!

WordPress is semantic because it generates XHTML markup with meaning. It produces web pages that work w/o any style applied, work correctly with screen readers used by blind people, and validate by conforming to published web standards. This makes for lightweight pages that download faster onto a user’s browser and that often appear of the screen quickly.

Give it up for WordPress!
