Pure agony..

I have so many things waiting for me in my apartment!

Yet to wash my dishes (from yesterday).. Yet to throw away the rotten apple I had in my fridge. Yet to wash my underwear (which I doubt I will have enough supply for the remaining week).

I have to checked in Hotel as I have nowhere else to stay for the night.

Novotel in Manga Dua is quite a spot. Plently of food stalls & a decent shopping mall, they have many shopping malls around this area.

The price is reasonable, about 80 sing dollars a night. The room is quite cozy & there is BBC news!

If you coming to Indonesia & prefer something simple, then Novetel is for you. The reception staff are very efficient. For me, I will just do a checklist to remind myself to bring my house key back!

Now, when I want to hack into another game, something strikes me! It is the security issues that will arise when we do openssh on iPhone; all username n password are generically the same.

Back in the past, you could not turn off the openssh after you installed it! Only recently, you are able to turn it ON or OFF via “BossPrefs”!

So as we read down, you will realize that there are a few must-have apps which you will need to work things out!

To check for your iPhone IP address, you may use apps like “AirSharing”. But if you decide not to spend a cent, you can try “NetTalk” from Cydia. From there, you will be able to get your IP & port number.

The default user is always “root”, which should not be a surprise to most of you. And the default password is: “alpine”!

So the big qustion is, how do we change the password?

All you need is to download “MobileTerminal” from Cydia, log in and just type “passed” will do!

It will prompt you to type your old password (in this case the password is alpine), followed by your new password twice!

Nice and simple!

Imagine all your favourite Chinese novels in your portable? Even though iPhone may not be the best eBook Reader in the market, but this still worth a try!

Just add “iphone.org.hk/apt” to your sources. You should be able to see the novel selections.

A handy little tip that may not immediately occur to everyone is that since the Unibody MacBooks now support the use of the remote on the iPhone headphones, they can be used to control a Keynote presentation. To start/stop the presentation, click once on the remote.

To advance a slide, double click the remote. And, to view the previous slide, a triple click will do the trick. Pretty neat little tip there.

Like most PC users, when I first used a Mac, I depended on Ms Office 2004 Entourage to check my Mail on a regular basis.

So when you are used to Entourage (or even Outlook), you will not get use to Mail windows layout.

For many Mac users out there (using Apple Mail), there is a plugin which will allow you to change the layout setting to Entourage (Outlook) like.
